Digital Playbill
A Welcome from the Director
“You don’t have to see something to know it’s there.”
Losing someone that you love is unfortunately a human experience we all endure – no matter our age. Although we cannot see or be with this person any longer, we might still feel their presence with us in lots of different ways. This play follows the journey of both Rosita and Conchita after they lose each other. This story and the tradition of Dia de Muertos invites us to, just like Rosita and Conchita, tap into what we cannot see but what we feel deep within our bodies and souls to reconnect with those we have lost. Our memories are strong forces that keep alive the legacy and spirit of those no longer on this earthly plane. After today’s performance, I invite you to recall those memories of your loved ones and share them with those who are still here. Thank you for being here today, and please enjoy Rosita y Conchita!
- Mateo Hernandez
This show runs approximately one hour and is performed without intermission.
